Scan email address from email body and send external email with custom message

Hello,

I'm have a similar propblem to this thread, but it wasn't solved.  I will receive an email with data gathered from a web form; Name and Email.  The body of the email will have the subject, name and email.

  1. When a new email arrives, match the subject filter for Webinar2019MarImage 12.png
  2. get the name and email from the body of the text
  3. send to email with custom message; 'Thank you NAME'

I've started with the Outlook365 When a new email arrives.  Using the 'Test->Use data from Office 365 Outlook' that part is working.  The steps from this thread, it failes. Is this the on the right path?  What flow would I need to send the message?

Thank you,

-Joe

Hi @joesparty_ro,

If you could post your compose function that will be helpful.

Looks like your compose function receiving null values so that split function is failing.

Add a check to make sure that the split parameter string always contains data.

Thanks
