Send Approval Tasks to multiple people entered into For a Selexted item in SharePoint

I have a SP Document Library where the Documents need to undgo different types of approvals.  Each Type of approval may need to be sent to multiple people for review.   My instand trigger:

The variable varAllEmails returns the following results: Email Address1; Email Address2

How do I parse each address and send an approval task to each person?

@ALBordelon :

Can you provide some more detail on your approval process?  Do you need a sequential approval?  A parallel approval?  Will the "require everyone to approve" option suffice?

Each person must respond and if no response after 1 week, a response of "Approved" should be applied with Comments- "No Response".

@ALBordelon

Before I create a full up solution, let me first describe the concept:

  1. Use that "everyone must approve" approval option
    1. The approval will terminate on the first rejection
  2. Set a 7 day timeout on the approval
    1. If the approval times out, set the item to approved with appropriate comment
  3. If the approval does not time, update the item as appropriate based on the approval outcome.

Will that work for you?

Yes, those requirements are correct.
