Send e-mail with information from newest item in a list

I'm trying to send an e-mail to individuals when a new item is added to a list, using custom information about that newest list item. Right now, any time a new item is added to the list, the flow will send e-mails for every e-mail already in the list.

All support is appreciated!

All items in blue refer to the list that items are being added to. The "body" expression is as follows:

body('Get_items')?['value']?[sub(length(body('Get_items')?['value']),1)]?['ID']

Hi @snjjt6 ,

Are you referring to this similar thread to configure your flow?

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/SharePoint-Get-items-Newest-list-values/m-p/18278...

If so, it seems that the configuration in this thread is unnecessary.

If you have used When an item is created as the trigger, you will always get the newest item in a list.

You could remove Get items action and Get item action.

Please try to use the output from trigger to configure the following actions directly.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

@snjjt6

Why are you using Get Items?  Is there a reason that you just don't send the email based upon the info from Dynamic properties from the trigger?

I suspect the reason that everyone is receiving email is that you appear to be using Get items and looping through each item
