Send email to an email address filled out in a normal text field in a Sharepoint list

Hi everyone, I'm posting regarding the below discussion:

A colleague and I are trying to recreate this but Flow is not recognising the single line text column as an email address field in the 'Send an email' action.

Flow acknowledges that the column exists as I am able to select it for the body of the 'Send an email' action but I am unable to use it in the 'To' field. I've tried saving my Flow, exiting and returning, adding new values to the list, but the issue persists.

What are we missing please?

Could you share a screenshot of your flow?

I have made a test, the email address in a Single Line of text field in a SharePoint list could be selected in the “To” field of action Send an email.

Please take another try with it.
