Send email to project owner

Hi all

I need to send a bi weekly reminder to the project owner to update his projects on a sharepoint list.

I have up to 100 projects distributed in approx 10 people.

So I want the flow to email only the project owner in order to update his/her projects.

This is the flow I have:

What should I use to tell the flow to email only the projects to its respective owenr?

Here is the SP list:

Thanks!

The way is set up right now, it duplicates several times the email sent.

Hey,

Take a look at the flow template generated when you go Flow -> Set a reminder.

This builds a HTML table of all the selected items.

You could loop through the project owners and then use this technique to send 1 email per project owner.

Hi

Which one of these?

Thanks!

Hey buddy,

I am not sure exactly, but if you create the flow from a library with a date column it is that one.

Hi @diegoandre10

If you have a list of the 10 project owners

then you can create an array in flow for the project owners and then loop through the array

within for loop

use get items action and fetch items for the current user in loop

Use odata query to filter on your column

odata query - ProjectOwner/EMail eq 'current user email'

ProjectOwner = internal name in SP of your project owner field

Then within the loop itself you can use the Select function (to select the columns you need to send in email) and then follow it up with create html table action and finally send an email to the specific owner

This ways you just query your list 10 times - fetch data related to the owners and accordingly send a consolidated html table of information in an email to the owner
