Send email with Image

I have developed numerous email notifications in flow that we use at my company.

People have started asking for images such as our logo in them.

I played around with this quite a bit last week, used this article and others:

https://poszytek.eu/en/microsoft-en/office-365-en/flow-en/embed-images-in-e-mails-body-using-microso...

  • using just src with image on Tinypic or on our internal SharePoint - takes a second to load when someone clicks on the email, tinypic seems to convert png to jpg? SP requires the person to be able to connect to SP.
  • using cid - only works for some browsers others don't like the "Cid" but seems that it works even if you don't put "cid" in the html, but again only for some.  Others it shows as an attachment.
  • Using base64, again only works for some browsers.

How do I put a logo in my flow emails that will work across browsers?  Outlook desktop on Windows, Outlook for Mac, etc.

Thanks,

Terry

Re: Send email with Image

Hi @Mattw112IG ,

It seems you want to send an eamil with the image in the email body.

You can use the <img> Label in HTML or URL.

There is a similar case, please take a reference:

Re: Send email with Image

Yep, I've tried all the ways I know of...

And I can get this to work...

But each has downsides.

The main thing is having Outlook desktop vs Outlook on MAC vs Outlook on Android show up correctly for everyone and in a timely manner.

I'm hoping someone has extensive experience with this in their company and can give me some real world advice.  At this point I've read all the articles and forum posts I could find.  And those are all good in a basic way, none of them really talk about the different platforms and compatibility.

Thanks,

Terry
