Send excel content in email

Hi all

Attempting to send excel content in an email using flow.

Excel content is stored on SharePoint.  Currently has 7 entries.

When I use the flow below, it works.  But the attached excel file only contains 1 row out of the 7 and I cannot figure out why.

1 the flow is on a schedule

2 and 3 clears the excel spread sheet

4 retrieves a list from sharepoint

5 populates the the excel based on the SharePoint list received and using a Yes/No criteria. (I’m able to check this and it is working fine)

6 then gets the file content of the file we’ve just populated

7 sends the email

I’m using the File Content element to add this file content to the email.  Ive got a question mark next to it as I query if this is the best way?  I believe this takes the data retrieved in 6 and populates the excel, but I cannot find in the options in 6 how to grab the whole table.  At the moment it just seems to grab the first row (after header).

Any help appreciated!!

Thanks

Hi @Nickbrisbane

Thanks for the screenshot.

What's the error you getting? Could you please add a flow step Delay for a minute before the Get File Content. Believe it's not getting the updated info from the table.

Re: Send excel content in email

@abm you nailed it with the delay!!

That was driving me crazy.

There was no error appearing but I was only ever getting 1 entry in my excel output, seems it needs the delay to get all the data.

Thanks again!
