Sending/ Sharing my calendar with a colleague or superior

I was wondering if its possible to share my upcoming events with others as a one-time email.

I tried it over the Get Event Action aswell as with the Get Calendar View Action in order to get my calendar.

When I folow it up with an email action however it will apply a repeated action for the output values so that the person i want to share my calendar/events with will get a single email for each event. I was wondering if its possible to make the flow in a way where they just get a list in one email instead? This is in case of a sickness that i want my superior to know what i would have been working on if i was present so he can compensate for my absence.

Hi @Michael90,

Do you use Get Event action rather than Get Events action in your flow?

Further, do you want to achieve multiple events or single event?

If you want to achieve single upcoming event, please take a try with the following workaround:

  1. Add “When an upcoming event is starting soon” trigger of Outlook, specify Calendar Id and Look-Ahead Time.
  2. Add “Send an email” action.

The flow works successfully as below:3.JPGBesides, if you want to achieve a specifc upcoming event, please add a Condition action to filter events after "When an upcoming event is starting soon" trigger.

Best regards,

Kris

Re: Sending/ Sharing my calendar with a colleague or superior

Hey thanks for the quick reply,

so far i've been using the 'Get Calendar View' Action.

The goal is to send, within 1 Email, ALL Events that would take place within a certain time-frame.

Lets say:

I start my flow with a StartDate and EndDate Input.

Those are used as the aforementioned 'time-frame'

All Events in MY Calendar within that time should be listed listed and send together as a Summary to my collegaue/superior.

Hi @Michael90,

Please take a try with the following workaround:

  • Choose a proper trigger, here I use Flow button trigger.
  • Add “Get calendar view of events” action, specify Calendar Id, Start Time and End Time.
  • Add a “Select” action, From set to output of “Get calendar view of events” action. Configure Map as below:7.JPG

  • Add “Create HTML table” action, From set to output of “Select” action.
  • Add “Send an email” action. Body set to output of “Create HTML table” action.

Re: Sending/ Sharing my calendar with a colleague or superior

Nice solution.

But I am trying to modify the flow, so that the time zone is converted to something like HH:mm, but that creates an "Apply for each" which I am have a hard time figuring out how to merge into one mail.
