SharePoint List Permissions

Scenario:

  • We use MS Forms to capture data. Forms submitted by Users (the business)
  • Responses are copied to a SharePoint List (O 365, Modern View) via MS Flow.
  • Using Approvals and Email from MS Flow, SP List items pass through a 'process' (pictured below)

Solving For:

  • I want Users to be able to see which stage their Item is in the process
    • When I grant Read-Only access to the site, though they cannot edit, users can view all List Views and all items on the SP List.
  • I'd prefer they only see the items they submitted OR only certain columns OR certain List Views

Does anyone have a solution they would recommend?

Try this:
1) configure the list so that users have no access to the list except you and the SCAs
2) once an item is created, share that item with the individual who should see it.
You can use the SharePoint create a sharing link or the share an item action to set the permissions.

You cannot set permissions on a column or view.
