SharePoint Multi-Choice People field giving JSON error

Hello,

I have created a flow to send approval email on creation of new sharepoint item. In my SharePoint list there is "Person or Group" field with "Allow multiple selections:" marked as "Yes".  I have a created following JSON schema to read the value from the SharePoint item.

{
    "type": "object",
    "properties": {
        "Claims": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "DisplayName": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Email": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Picture": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Department": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "JobTitle": {
            "type": "string"
        },
		"@odata.type": {
			"type": "string"
		}
    }
}

My input field is as follows

But even if the JSON schema is valid, I am getting following error when saving the flow

Can someone help correct this.

Thanks in advance!

Re: SharePoint Multi-Choice People field giving JSON error

I removed the extra fields and modified the JSON to just extract DisplayName and Email field. Code copied below. Now it is working fine. Guess it was because of some of the extra fields and values present or not present in them.

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "DisplayName": {
      "type": "string"
    },
    "Email": {
      "type": "string"
    }
  }
}

Re: SharePoint Multi-Choice People field giving JSON error

Hi @AKB_2K ,

Could you share the details of the Flow configuration and tell us the properties you need to get?

What kind of requirements do you want to achieve through such a Flow?

I did a test here, created a Person type field named User and allowed multiple selections, please refer to the following Schema:

{
    "type": "object",
    "properties": {
        "@@odata.type": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Claims": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "DisplayName": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Email": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Picture": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "Department": {
            "type": "string"
        },
        "JobTitle": {
            "type": "string"
        }
    }
}
