SharePoint and hyperlink as a picture

Hi Flow team,

it looks like Flow (Designer) doesn't show SharePoint list column based on type "Hyperlink or Picture" when asked to show as a picture.

Can you confirm that this is a known issue ?

Re: SharePoint and hyperlink as a picture

Hi SERGELUCA,

Do you mean under the SharePoint custom list site, when creating the Microsoft Flow, the "Hyperlink or Picture" won't show as Picture, or use Microsoft Flow web version? Could you please share us a screenshot here?

It seems to be that the Hyerlink or Picture would only keep the Hyperlink.

I will confirm this with the others, see what the situation are on their site.

Regards

Re: SharePoint and hyperlink as a picture

Hi Michael,

so if I have a SharePoint list with one of the column (here "weathurepicture") based on type "Hyperlink or picture"

...and this column setting is format url as a picture (if a url to a "cloud" is wriiten in there, I ant to see the cloud, not the url  this works well in SharePoint)

Now in my Flow, if I want to update the list item I don't even see the weather column :

It works (I see the field in the action) when it is displayed as an hyperlink.

Re: SharePoint and hyperlink as a picture

Hi sergeluca,

Thanks for the detailed explanation about the issue here, and yes, I could confirm the issue you encountered.

When the column is formatted as Picture, it won't showup as an available item under the Action of SharePoint "Update item".

Column Picture is formatted as Picture, 123 is formatted as Hyperlink. I suppose currently the Function of Sharepoint "Update item" in Microsoft Flow doesn't support the Picture format, or doesn't support to edit that column type.

In the PowerApp Official article, it mentions that currently the Picture type in SharePoint could be read only:

Connect From Microsoft PowerApps to SharePoint

I didn't find anything that related with Microsoft Flow, only adding the PowerApp related as a reference.

Michael
