SharePoint document library Item added or updated event - Ignore the event when the document(s) moved into a folder within the library

Hi there,

Item added or updated event Flow has been deployed for the SharePoint document library and working as expected.

When the document metadata is updated to desired value of "Approved" Flow is generating notifications ("Send Email" action) . All is good so far.

But

The user is moving the documents (using the SharePoint "Move To" control) into a specific folder within the document library where the folder has been deployed, user action of moving documents is triggering item added event and generating notifications.

Please suggest the best approach to ignore (not to invoke the Flow) when user move documents to folder within the document library. Is there any event in Flow just for Item updated rather than Item Added or Updated?

Help appreciated with best practice.

Hi @RajuGolla ,

If you want the flow to ignore (not to invoke the Flow) when user move documents to folder within the document library, you could consider submitting an idea to flow ideas forum:

Best regards,
