SharePoint list wipe all data for all rows

Hi all,

Probably a fairly simple thing to do but I can't seem to get it working.

I have a list with Column A-F and in this list I have 45 rows. I want to wipe the data in column A-F for all 45 rows in (hopefully) one action SharePoint - Update List Item Flow.  It wants me to define the ID field 1 by one which would take to long to create the flow.

Any thoughts?

Re: SharePoint list wipe all data for all rows

hI @barnie206,

Could you please sahre a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, which data type are the column A-F s within your SharePoint list?

I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround:

  • Add a proper trigger, here I use Flow Button trigger.
  • Add a "Get items" action, specify Site Address and List Name.
  • Add a "Apply to each", input parameter set to output of "Get items" action.
  • Within "Apply to each", add a "Update item" action, specify Site Address and List Name, Id field set to ID dynamic content of "Get items" action. Column A field set to a space, Column B set to a space, Column C set to a space, Column D set to a space, Column E set to a space and Column F set to a space.

Note: click "Space" key within your keyboard to add a space within Column A-F fields of your "Update item" action.

The flow works successfully as below:14.JPG
