When using a shared mailbox for the Assigned to field, we receive the request properly, but when a delegated user tries to click on the Approve or Reject link, they are redirected to the Flow site with no approvals waiting. We've tried adding the user's email to the Assigned to list thinking it may be a licensing issue, but the user doesn't get the approval email to their email, it only routes to the Shared Mailbox. If the user clicks the Approve or Reject button, they are redirected to the full website the same as before.
Do Shared Mailboxes not work for Approval actions? If they do, are we missing sometihng in licensing or configuration?
This issue is a blocker for our vechicle reservation calender with flow. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance,
When using a shared mailbox for the Assigned to field in Approval action, the Approval center does not show received approvals.
Shared Mailboxes are not working for Approval actions in Flow currently.
If you want to function that you mentioned to be supported in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
You could consider take a try to send the approval email using the "Send email with options" action as an alternative solution.
Note: The Flow approvals center will not be available to you when using the Send Email with Options action. The approver will need to respond (approve or reject) from the email. Also, there is no opportunity for the approver to provide comments.
Please take a try.
