Sharepoint list columns update from excel

Hey,

I have a SharePoint list, which is used for power app created application. There is a few columns that data was missing before, but now I have missing data in excel. So, I wanna create a flow which automatically update those missing places in SharePoint list with relevant information from excel. Is it even possible to do?

Thank you so much for your help.

Yes it is possible you need to save your excel sheet to excel online and make sure you format it as a table.

Next you need to identify a unique identifier that matches the record in your excel sheet to your record in the sharepoint List.

Then you will start a Manual Flow Trigger and then List rows in a table  from Excel Connector

Then Apply_to_each and loop on the excel records and using the unique identifier you can call Get Items Action from sharepoint connector with a filter expression like UniqueIdentifierColumninSharepoint eq Same Unique identifier from your Excel

Then Use Update Item given the Id from your GetItems with your data from the excel sheet.

Re: Sharepoint list columns update from excel

If I get it right, the flow should look like that? :

captureee.PNG

And firstly I get data from excel:

Capture.PNG

Then I get items from my sharepoint:

capturi.PNG

Then I create condition: info.PNG

If yes:

yes.PNG

But in the condition section I get error, when I test the flow.

I'm really new to Power Apps, so maybe I'm not getting it right?

It looks good , but on the Get Items can you add the filter to skip the condition step

the variable between single quotes should be the value of Title from your excel

Re: Sharepoint list columns update from excel

When I add query filter as you mentioned before, my flow doesn't work.

But now my flow imports information from excel to SharePoint, unfortunately it does it randomly So now it would be perfect for a flow to fill those empty gaps according to a certain ID or engagement code. Is it possible to do that?
