Show a list of strings

Based on this link @ https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/approvals-markdown-support#lists we can show a list of string using "-"

so inside my flow i am defining the following:-

but currently i will get this value inside my email:-

  • User A - User B

So why i am not getting a list of users? and instead i am getting all the values inside the same line?

The Markdown only works in the body of the approval where it is considered a special character.  If you embed it in a variable first it won't be considered markdown.
