Special characters on Sharepoint field

Hi all!

I'm trying to make a flow that save in to a sharepoint list the subject of a mail as title, but if the mail is forwarded it contains special characters as ":" and the flow fails.

There is a method for filter dynamic content subject and obtain it without special characters?

Re: Special characters on Sharepoint field

Hi @mirkio90,

I'm trying to use compose to solve the problem, but it result in outputing replace(test:test,':',") instead of the real value.

But we are working on a feature to solve the problem. Thanks for the paitence.

Thanks

Re: Special characters on Sharepoint field

Hi @mirkio90,

There is no way to filter the Dynamic content, unless it is an array (which we could take use of the filter Array Action).

As mentioned by telu, we could take use of the Compose Action here to Split the Content and then have it without the special characters.

Please take a try with the following steps to add the Compose:

Under the Input part, copy and paste the following (with the double quote):

"@split(triggerBody()?['Subject'],':')[1]"

If your original Subject didn't contain the " : ", then the outputs of the compose would be the original Subject string.

Please take a try with the method above, if you have any further questions, please post back.
