my flow is being passed some HTML formatted text that I want to pass to an approval connector. The approval then sends the mail with all the tags in it.
I would normally want to use the HTML to Text connector, however my organisation has disabled it (don't ask....) and there isnt a chance of them re-enabling it for some time to come.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could strip the HTML from a string without using the HTML to text connector?
Unfortunately, there is no way to add HTML formate text field into the Approval body.
However, it supports to add the MarkDown syntax into the description:

Thanks for that @v-litu-msft , and that is the root of the problem
Is there another round about way to convert my HTML formatted string to plain text without the use of the HTML to text converter?
I have this same problem. The MS Forms multi-line input box wraps all the text in a <div> tag, and then when you send it out in the Approvals email body it does not process the <div> tag so it comes through as normal text and shows the actual <div> tag.
I have not been able to find a way to strip the HTML. I use MS Forms to input my data and Flow it to a Custom List in sharepoint, so I am looking at moving my approvals part to after the record is inserted into the Custom List and hoping that the HTML tags have been stripped internally somehow by the Custom List.
