Submit-form-approval-email-content

Hello,

I'm a newborn baby who has almost zero understanding of how MS flow works.

I would like to know if there is any way copy form content and send as attachment .pdf or .doc.?

I read a few posts https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Send-MS-Form-results-as-email-attachment-not-just... and tried for my purpose but it doesn't work properly.

Flow works until approval part and I also know how to display dynamic content in the email which works fine. please look these screen shots

Form submittedForm submittedapprovalapprovalemail contentemail content

This what I'm trying to achieve

  • Submit a form
  • Email submitter
  • Send for approval iam@boss.com
  • If approved (email form content as pdf. or .doc or excel to sidekick@boss.com)
  • If Rejected (email reason to the submitter )
  • Create or add form content a SharePoint excel sheet or doc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thankkkooo

Mahi

Hi @abm

Thanks for all your input, but after as you suggested me to try. but it doesn't work.

as soon as I submit the form it adds the data to Sharepoint/site/documents even before getting to approval section.

I don't know what should I try next.?

Many Thanks

Mahi

Hi @Mahipundir

Yes I can see the new variable you created and setting to true. Afterwards where are you checking this flag is true? I can't see from your screenshot.

Thanks

do you need any more information .?

Many thanks

Hi @Mahipundir

Thanks for the update.

Yes I can see where you declared the varaible and setting to true under the If condition. It's all good so far but where is the final check if that variable is true then only create the SharePoint Item.

Thanks

Hi @abm sorry, I didn't get it what do you mean..?

I did as you suggested in your screenshot which one is missing now..?

Would you please send me a screenshot for the example?

Kind regards

Mahi

Hi @Mahipundir

You mentioned "Only one issue I'm facing in both cases Approved or rejected it creates a share-point record. I would like if approved only then"

All you need to do is check the condition with that new variable and add the create sharepoint record under the yes condition.

Hello @abm

Thank you so much for trying and all your valuable input but still no luck, I did as you suggested add variable after condition saying YES but it still creating a share point entries I tried giving both side value false and true and then adding variable after the conditions.

Could you please send me (If possible) screenshots just wanted to make sure I'm doing correctly.

Kind Regards

Mahi
