Summarize by Manager and send for approval- Flow

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and new to power Automate. I have a question, hope someone can shed some light.

Every month i need to seek approvals for say 200 individual items. These 200 may belong to 20 different managers. Instead of sending 200 emails out with information using flow, how can i summarize the list by manager and send only 20 emails ?

Or any other ideas if someone can suggest.

At the moment i do it manually via emails, and its difficult to follow up with people sometimes.

Thanks

1. Where are the items saved? Sharepoint?

2. Is the Manager field on the same list of the item?

Hi @Mira_Ghaly

I prepare a excel sheet every month. So i can upload that in Online Excel or even create a SharePoint list. Open to any option.

And manager field is with in the same sheet against every line.

Thanks

@annajhaveri   @Paulie78 Can you guys help here as well ?

Thanks

@krk_2021 refer to this post, where data is stored in SharePoint, and it is aggregating data in the same you need https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Group-BY-in-Flow-to-send-email-of-aggregated-data...

@annajhaveri  I saw the link which you shared. That will work only when you wish to summarize the data by Manager and send out Emails.

But i wish to summarize and send out Approval !!

I doubt there is a workaround for that yet.

Thanks
