Take PowerApps Form fields, and enter values into the form submission attachment (Excel)

Hi Everyone,

First-time poster here. I have a flow that links SharePoint Lists (via PowerApps Form), SharePoint Library and Excel. Please see below. To summarize, a form is filled out via PowerApps, with a standardized excel file required as an attachment. The app is connected to a SharePoint List, and when a new form is submitted to the list, the flow below grabs the excel file in the list and puts it into a SharePoint Library folder.

After this step, what I want to do is take other fields from the form, and enter that data into a table in the attachment (excel). So, for example, the form has 3 fields: project ID, date and excel attachment. I want to take the project ID in the form and put it into a table in the excel attachment, using a flow. I was reading that the excel actions don't play nice with dynamic content, so I'm not sure if this is possible. Would really appreciate some guidance on this topic. Thanks!

Hi,

Are you running into errors here? Without seeing what issues you are running into here when you are building it is hard to say what exactly is your issue that is occurring. I know that there are some limitations with Excel but without actually seeing what you are trying to do here its tough to tell if that is what you are hitting. If you need help building this out you can always reach out to one of our partners who specialize in this.

Regards,

Alex
