Take a document submitted in answer to a MS Form, and attach it to an email?

Hi there - I'm trying to build a bit of a ticketing system for requests for help that come into my team.

I have a Microsoft Form set up, for the requester to complete, and as part of the request submission, they may need to attach relevant documents - word docs, PDFs etc.

One flow takes the details and plugs them into a Sharepoint List.

Another flow emails the best suited member of my team, and that email includes all the details provided in the Form.

The problem I have is that Forms just dumps the attachments into a shared folder - without any means of marrying up which attached file relate to which form submission - really odd and really flawed in my opinion!

I'd like to somehow make it easy to identify which attachments belong to which request.

My preference would be to be able to attach the documents to the automated email, but I'd settle for anything that makes it quick and easy to identify which docs relates to which request.

I can't see any way of doing this!

Please can anyone help?

Since you have two different flows, did you consider:

-either merging both of them into one, or

-keep both of them independent, but redesign your first flow in order to store Forms response attachments in your SP list item?

So in order to get the Forms attachments you will find good stuff here...

...and if you wanna store them as attachments in your SP list items, there is an action block called 'Add attachment'

Hope this helps
