Task with Attachments from Team Channel Message

Is it possible to create a Task from a new Team Channel Message, and include the Attachments?

I can get as far as creating a Task from a new Team Channel Message. I cannot figure out how to add the Attachmets to the task (or links/references to the Sharepoint locations/filenames of the Attachments).

Below is what I can't figure out. The Condition always comes through as "false" even if there are attachments.

Hi @ddelgado ,

Please check this similar thread and see if it helps:

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Re: Task with Attachments from Team Channel Message

Hello @v-bacao-msft ,

Thanks for the support. It looks like I'm having similar issues to what the original poster was having. My Flow is failing at the Update Task Details part. For some reason the contentUrl is returning empty. I see that later on in the other thread the original poster was able to get a value passed through, but there is no statement as to how he did it.

Re: Task with Attachments from Team Channel Message

Hi @ddelgado ,

Have you looked at Body of When a new channel message is added?

Is the ContentUrl field empty? Perhaps the current message does not contain attachments.

Re: Task with Attachments from Team Channel Message

Hi Barry,

I don't know how to check specific fields, but everything looks to be there.

Also, thank you for all your help!

Re: Task with Attachments from Team Channel Message

Hi @ddelgado ,

I mean check the trigger's Body and then see if the contentUrl field is empty.

Because the message that triggered Flow may not be the one you expected, it may not contain attachments.
