The credentials for this connection do not have access to

Hello!

I'm writing a flow that needs to access my hard drive. Basically it will detect which files have been changed/updated and then sync/upload them to Google Drive. I'm having trouble though accessing my own hard drive through this flow. I'm using the File System trigger when a file is added or modified.

My work laptop died and I'm developing on my own personal desktop. I do not logon to my dektop and therefore do not have a password. I also don't have any domains set, at least explicitly. The message I get is the one in the Subject line of this post:

The credentials for this connection do not have access to

Searching around I was able to find a thread that deals with this issue but the resolution does not seem applicable to me unless I'm missing something.  Flow Credentials

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi @rgireyev,

Have you installed the Gateway on your desktop?

How do you create the connection to the File system?

Here is the doc on File system connector, please check it for more details:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/filesystem/

Best regards,

HI Mabel @v-yamao-msft

Yes of course there is a Gateway running on my desktop. For if I did not have one I would have gotten that error first before the one that I'm getting right now. Smiley Wink Smiley Happy

I'm not sure what you mean by "How do you create the connection to the File system?"

Thank you for the link to the File System documentation however I'm quite intimately familiar with it at this point. Smiley Very Happy Unfortunately it does not discuss the area that I'm having difficulty with at the moment.
