The result of the evaluation of 'scope' action expression '@body('Get_item')?['Status']?['Value']' is not valid. It is of type 'Null' but is expected to be a value of type 'String, Integer'.

Quite a strange error appeared just yesterday.

My flaw worked just fine until yesterday.

What the workflow does is quite simple. Checks a sharepoint item, grabs the status vaule and goes on a switch case block.

What is very strange is that the flow retrieves the raw value of the status

The Switch Case block with the Status Value

And here is the error I receive (since yesterday)

I did send myself an email on fail with the values of status and satus value.

I get no values at all!

I have literally no clue. Can it be that some service of Microsoft is not resolved yet, since yesterday that they had a major incident?

thanks to any useful comment 🙂

Hi @Kernel52

Try inserting a compose just after your "Get Item" - to check what is being returned from your expression in the history of the run.  It looks like the expression "body('Get_item')?['Status']?['Value']" is not returning anything despite what you have screenshot.

Hi Damien,

thanks for sharing ideas on this issue and apologies for the delay on replying.

I get the impression that something has changed on the way that the flow is being triggered. I think that the split-on and the Concurrency Control have something to do with it.

Indeed a compose seems a very good way to check things. but on the specific issue I still went nowhere.

I redid my flow and it seems to be working.
