Transaction Reports with Amount Total (Sum HTML?)

Hello all!

Looking to email a simple transaction report with a TOTAL amount paid. This can be either in the body of an email or on an Excel attachment.

The data comes from one Excel doc that looks like this:

Excel Report.PNG

End Goal:

  • User@TheBatman.com receives an email with just three transaction lines and a total of the three amounts.
  • User@Joker.com receives an email with one transaction and total.
  • Etc...

I currently have a flow set-up so that the table appears in the body of the email, but I'm stuck on how to get the output of total from the HTML table created:

The total can be a row in the table or not.

Is it better to change the flow so that the recipients receive an attached Excel or CSV?

My current flow looks like this:

Detail of flow:

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!!

Hi @FP_Sandra ,

You could try to create the 3th variable (data type of float) at the begining of the flow.

Then you could try to use 'Increment variable' action in nested loop.

Now you can use this float variable in your email body. The vaule of the variable is the amount total .

Finally, don't forget to reset the variable to 0 .

Hi Wearsky,

Apologies for delayed reply.

This almost worked. It's resulting in a COUNT, not a SUM.

Not sure if I have an error in how I added your suggestions. Here's what I added:

3RD VARIABLE

INCREMENT VARIABLE

FLOAT IN SUBJECT
