Hello, I have a Powerapp that I want to set up to trigger a flow but it seems like the only option is to create a flow that would trigger the first flow, but whats the connector? Another wrinkle is that the first flow is a shared flow, is there any problems with that?

You could trigger the Flow in the PowerApps, there is trigger in Flow in accept call from PowerApps, please refer to this document:
