Trouble Updating records with Flow in Dataverse

Hi!

Currently building out a flow that will update a dataverse (CDS) table with data from a custom connector; I have already built out a create flow, this flow will update records after they have been entered in. I believe my error is something regarding the "Row ID". Below is the current flow, and the field being referenced in Row ID is the primary column in the table, and is a unique identifier. Unsure if maybe I'm referencing it incorrectly. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

It looks like you are just typing it in.  You should have a variable or dynamic content from another action that provides you the row to be updated.  Normally this is provided by the trigger or by doing a list rows with other criteria to get a set of rows to be updated.

I was able to list the rows from my dataverse table, however I'm running it and it seems to be taking quite some time (over 3 hours, which is unusual), I am also unable to remove the apply to each from either, but I'm sure this is just looping the process exponentially. I'm not sure where to adjust.

This is the current flow:

Even if only one record is returned it will return it as a collection.  If its only one record you can use First() to manually retrieve it.  Otherwise you need to use a loop.  You should also use the advanced options to limit the number of records returned to only the ones that need to be updated.

I apologize if I'm mistaken as it relates to your explanation. In total, there should be about 400 sales orders pulled at a time from both the CDS table and the API. The end use case of this flow is to update each record (each sales order's price, orderstatus, etc.). To do this, is it necessary for it reference all 400 orders from both the table and the api each time? Or would there be a better means of aggregating all the CDS data and then one by one matching orderid's from the API to update any changes to each order.

Appreciate the help tremendously

Normally, there should be some key, like an order number, that would be provided by the API and available in the CDS table.  That reference or key would be used so you could pull the matching record for each item.  That way you don't have to go through all 400 orders each time.  If that key doesn't exist or isn't available then yes you would need to process all 400 orders each time.  I don't know enough about the tables you are using to say what that reference might be.
