Two Flows that perform the same action, but have different triggers, are outputting different results

Hello,

I have two Flows with different triggers:

1. Manual

2. Scheduled to run once a month on the 1st

After the trigger, both Flows perform the same actions. They create a variable to capture the current year and create a folder named with the current year. Then an array is initialized to capture 01 to 12. An apply to each runs to create a subfolder within the year folder and each is named a number from 01 to 12.

The manual Flow outputs all 12 subfolders. The scheduled Flow outputs 01 to 06. They are the exact same Flow apart from the trigger. I used clipboard to carry over the actions from manual to scheduled. I even recreated the scheduled from scratch but it always stops at 06. Anyone have any ideas?

Try doing a SaveAs on the manual triggered flow that works.  Then edit the saved copy, remove the trigger and add the recurrence trigger.  run the new recurrence triggered flow and see if it doesn't work correctly.  I suspect something in the JSON of the existing recurrence flow was corrupted during the copy/paste process.

Oddly enough, that fixed it. Although I'm not sure why taking the existing manual flow and changing the trigger works, when building it fresh from scratch doesn't. Either way, it works so I'm happy. Thanks!
