UI Flow suddenly stopped working

Not sure what the cause of this is but my recurring UI flow stopped working.

I went and updated my gateway to the latest June version and restarted it but that didn't resolve the issue.

When looking through my gateway error logs there were 0 errors.

The error message power automate is giving me isn't specifying anything else other than failure to connect to UI flows.

I've removed and re-added the extension to google chrome but that didn't do anything either. (It is "On")

Hi @MattP13 ,

 

Does the flow works before?

The error message told that couldn't run the UI flow on your machine, could you please take a try to re-install the it to see if the issue still exists?

@v-alzhan-msft I've had  this flow working daily for 3 weeks now before this issue.

What exactly would I need to re-install? 

I've re-installed both the gateway and UI Flows.

Does your flow also couldn't work after the UI flow is re- installed?

@v-alzhan-msft  I identified the problem. 


For some reason the UIflow service stopped working so I had to restart it. The service is set to automatic so I’m not sure why it stopped.

for anyone not familiar with the location of services and how to identify whether it’s on or off you can simply type in "services" in the search bar of your desktop then navigate down the page until you find UIflow or flows.

 

Make sure the service is set to start automatically
