UI Flows - Downloading files

Hi All.

I have built a UI flow to gather data from a vendors legacy portal.

As you can see below is just a basic table which I have being pulled into a Sharepoint list without issue.

In the last column is a icon of a Zip file that contains the billing data. In the UI flow it just downloads to the default downloads folder.

Javascript for the download of the file:

<a onclick="javascript&colon;App.downloadBill('bcad785cbfecasdf11ea9a2ddsserfsa9762b3fff56','5E333196E5135SS8B223AE5CED4CCA6984540FDECF08AEA534BA86C346280E5385AD45fDD9E19069289F9BC8F5A5124F8D2C82C9E99CA5','BillsViewBillsUICompositeMediator','A123456789','A123456789','0.00');" href="javascript&colon;void(0);"><img width="16px" height="16px" src="com.salmat.viewpay.MainModule/images/iconWinZip.png"></a>

What I cant work out at the moment is :

  1. How can I not use the default save to downloads and have it save to a SharePoint library. Or do I need to create a further flow that gets the downloaded file from downloads and then move to SharePoint list?
  2. How can I get it to skip IF already downloaded (as part of previous flows, and in SharePoint list). I cant use the Last Download Date column as others jump in this portal and download files so it could cause a issue there. It will need to look at the SharePoint list i think.

Has anyone got some ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hi @LeeJBS,

After you download the zip file through UI Flow, you could store these files into a folder of OneDrive for business, then create a Flow to extract achieve to the folder when a file is created in the folder, then create new files in the SharePoint folder:

I have the same issue. The part that isn't covered in the answer is how to automate getting the file from 'downloads' into a OneDrive folder. Is that possible?

Personally I made a Downloads folder in my OneDrive and made that my default download location in Chrome.
