UTF-8 References in a File Name

Hello!

I wonder if anyone can help me with this one please?

I'm using Power Automate to convert a word document in a library to a PDF.

The output file name is made up of fields from the Document Library, some of which contain characters such as : / so I need to these to be converted to the UTF equivalent %2F etc in the output file name. Any suggestions how to achieve this?

Example:

File for conversion to PDF
file1.docx

Fields:
Text1: 'Updated: Today'
Text2: 'Maybe/Probably'

End result after PDF conversion in Sharepoint Document Library: Updated%3a Today Maybe%2fProbably.pdf

I'm Ok with standard PDF conversion in Flow, but attempting to get this bit working is proving rather difficult.

Hi @lordonion1,

 

You could use the decodeUriComponent() function to convert it URI code into string, and use UriComponent() function to convert string to URI code:

You could use the decodeUriComponent() function to convert it URI code into string, and use UriComponent() function to convert string to URI code:
