Unable to copy an item from a text field to lookup field (Two lists) using flow

I have three lists/libraries in SharePoint online site-

1. student information - which have unique student number

2. LibraryA-A library with an uploaded document, student number[text field] and document type name coming from a third-party tool

3. LibraryB-A library with an uploaded document and Student Number[Look up field] fields.

Requirement:-We created a Ms Flow to copy uploaded document and Student Number into LibraryB, When a new item is created on the LibraryA.

Issue:-unable to copy Student Number to LibraryB using Flows.

Is it possible to copy a text to a look up field using MS flows?

@Jilty

Your lookup column on Library B points "student information" SP list, right?

As far as I remember, in order to fill a lookup column via Microsoft Flow action blocks, you need to use the ID of the item in the pointed SP list.

So, I would suggest the following:

1.- Do a "Get items" on "student information" SP list.

2.- Filter its output by taking all items whose student number equals the string you got from Library A uploaded documen by means of "Filter Array" action block

3.- Since student number is unique, "Filter Array" output will be an array with a single item, so all you need is to read its ID (you will extract this single item by means of first() or last() WDL expressions), and use it as entrypoint to fill lookup column on Library B.

Hope this helps
