Unable to trigger a send an email action on SP task list completion

Hi,

I am using the OOTB SharePoint task list to list tasks. Basically I am trying to send an email out when a task percentage is changed to 100%. For some reason the condition evaluates to false and that is why send an email action is failed. Below is the screenshot of created flow.

Capture.JPGThe Trigger I am using is "item created or modified". To test, I simply choose "I wil perform a trigger action" and then edit one of the tasks percentage to 100 and I can see the flow runs but condition evaluates to false. I have tried 100 as well instead of 100% still the issue persists. This should be pretty easy fix, can someone please hellp correcting the condition.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Unable to trigger a send an email action on SP task list completion

Hi @dmistry,

You could use these methods to determine if the task percentage is already 100%, or is already done.

1. You could judge whether "% Complete" is equal to "1".  Note that the percentage here is expressed in decimals. For example, 50% is done, then the result should be 0.5.

2. Determine if "Compeleted" is equal to 1.

@equals(triggerBody()?['Checkmark'], string(1))

3. Determine if "Task Status Value" is "Completed"

Please take a try.

Re: Unable to trigger a send an email action on SP task list completion

One thing that I did wrong was using Get items, which is not necessary at all since flow is only going to run items that are modified or created and especially modified with the condition. Your solution helped, thanks a lot.
