Update File Properties - Show blank on word doc if source SharePoint list reference is empty

Hello!

I am working on populating a word document based on a SharePoint list.  I'm trying to avoid using the word premium connector so I'm using a series of steps:

(Triggered from PowerApp)

1. Get Item (get SharePoint list data to populate file)

2. Get File Content (word template - not an official template file but a .docx file)

3. Create File (creates new file to populate and not overwrite the template)

4. Update File Properties (updates based on another SharePoint List)

QUESTION:  In the resulting word file, how do I populate blank values for any reference that is blank in the SharePoint list?  Currently the resulting file has visible document properties so it is confusing to someone looking at the document.

Here's an example below - I'd like the "Original" and "Current" table items to be blank since there is nothing in the reference list and not display "[OriginalDueDate]" and "[CurrentDueDate]"

Any tips are much appreciated!  Or any other ideas on how I can work around the premium word connector to achieve this!

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

While not the most sophisticated approach, you could simply enter a single empty space character (' ').
