Update File Proprieties using Excel

I am trying to use a table formated in an excel file to update the columns in a Sharepoint Library similar to the below post.

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Update-Sharepoint-List-From-Excel-File/td-p/11147...

However this uses Sharepoint One drive and I want to use the document library itself.    My Flow is failing at the first step of List Rows in table.  It can not even seem to read the table. or get the table from the file

I have tried everything to get the correct file below is the error I get if I try get table..get worksheet ..get row it is pretty much the same error.

The expression \drives\xxxx\filename.xsl/ is not valid. I feel like this might be due to the the way the file name is being created with / at the end instead of \ however I am not putting this on the item.

I have tried to create a variable but I am not having luck with the format can someone please help.

Thanks

Jennifer

Hi @jkeckard007,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Do you want to use the "List rows present in a table" action to get the rows of a new created excel file which trigger the flow?

If you want to use the "List rows present in a table" action, you could only get the rows of a existing file before the flow runs, and you couldn't get a new created excel file when the flow runs.

Here is my Flow configuration. If I understand you I can't trigger the Flow on creat in the Sharepoint Document library? I was hoping something similar to this however I can not get the Get tables to work.FlowJPG.JPG

Hi @jkeckard007,

The Excel Online (Business) connector require a existing excel file before the flow runs, so you couldn't get the excel file which is created to trigger the flow.

You could only get a existing excel file before the flow runs.
