Update Sharepoint list item in special column for the bucket when a planner task changed progress status or is completed

Hi,

maybe somebody can help me to create a flow. I have a sharepoint list with submitted MS Forms responses. When a response is submitted, it will be added a new item to this list. When a response is submitted, it will be created a new task in Planner in 3 buckets = 3 new task id for each response/sharepoint list item. These task id's are listed in each list row in 3 columns named by bucket names. My problem is to update the sharepoint list when a task is completed. I would like to have in the sharepoint list the task completition date and completed by in the right row and right column. Or simply the progress status of the task. But I can not find out how to filter out the task id in 3 bucket columns and add the task completition data to right row and column  (it could be the task id replaced or I could add some additional columns for the completition dates for each bucket). I would be happy with the solution when a task is completed (the particular changed progress status would be not so necessary)

There is a Power Automate Trigger that will fire when a Task is completed.  The trigger returns the Completed Date/Time, the guid for the user that completed it, and the ID of the task.  YOu can then use the ID of the Task in a Get Items to filter the SharePoint list down to the row you want to update and then update it with the other information you retrieved.

The one thing you probably need to do is either add 3 task completion columns to record the info or make that column a multi-line column so you can append the info.

Thank you for your quick reply. I created the flow and could update the completion date in a separate column. I am not sure how to achieve, that the completion date will come to the right column. Whether if I would like append as multi-row or I will add 3 new columns. I am new to creating flows, so I did not understood yet every action (I need to understand the logic). Please for further support

Since you only have one column right now there is no "right" column, there is only one.  So you can change that column to a multiline column and then concat the existing value onto the new date and time and save that to the column.  Or you can add two more columns and make each one match one of the tasks.  Then use something like the title of the task or the id to figure out which column to update.
