Update a Sharepoint list Item using Microsoft forms (ID in source data)

This is a great forum which has helped me greatly with using Flows, but I'm really struggling with something that seems so basic!

I have a Microsoft form which when updated it should update a list item, but I'm struggling with identifying the list to update.

I have a list item with an ID which is automatically generated by the list, e.g 17

On my form there is a question where you enter an ID, this ID is the sharepoint list ID

When the form is submitted if should add the data to the specific list item

My logic with the above is:

Select the forms information

Select the items informaiton
where the form ID = the ID on the form take the output and find the specific item

Update that specific item

I hope that makes sense. I don't feel like the filter array works as a where? I looked at the information which comes out during test and it is at below

Would appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi @bread01,

According to your description, I made a flow for testing likes below.

It seems that there is no type of Number in Microsoft Forms, so I create a field for Id in type of Text. In the flow, I will use a function to convert it to integer.

The flow is triggered by When a new response is submitted, then get response details, getting items from the SharePoint list.

Under the Get items action, add a Compose action to convert Id from string to integer. The code is:

Within the Apply to each, add a Condition to check if the SharePoint list ID equals to the Id from the forms. If yes, update the corresponding item with specified information.

Please check the following screenshot for a reference.

More details about the int function, please check the doc on WDL:
