I have a list where I have a date field named "Resolution Date" (Internal name is ResolutionDate).
I want to update the status of items in the list from Resolved to Closed if it's passed 3 days since the Resolution Date.
I've tried doing this in the below flow but can't seem to get past the Get Items step.
your trigger is not right. It wil run your flow every 3 day. What you want is to compare date with Resolve date. If it's been 3 days. Change status.
Let's say Your resolve date is 1st June. Today is 4th June.
Use "get past time". Provide interval of 3 days.
Output of get pas time will be 3 days before today's date.
Compare it with your resolve date using condition.
Here is pic of one my flows. if entry in my SharePoint site is 3 months old. It will be archive. every day at 4 with flow will run. Check if any entry is 3 month old. If there is. Remove it from main list and moves it to archive list.
@zmansuri I have posted in this new post as wanted to include a check out of office condition - any thoughts?
