Update task details not found

I created a simple flow that upon an email trigger a planner task is created. That works however the follow up is to update the details of the task by adding the body of the email into the description.

I always seem to get the Not Found error.

Task ID is being passed through properly from the create task to the update task details.

What could I be missing here?

Thanks

To update this, I added a Delay timer for 5-10 seconds in order for this to work. Seems like there is an issue when the task is created and when the task can be updated.

By adding te delay it seems like I give the systems a moment to get the task in place so it can be found for updaing.

New flow looks like this and works as expected.

Hi mxy,

I assume that your flow might be created likes following.

When testing this flow on my side, it runs succeed. I don’t get any error message.

Does the action “Create a task” run successfully?

Please take this for a reference and try again with it on your side.

Thanks for the suggestion

I created the same flow that you have posted. The only change I made was to use a subject filter with "todo" in the subject to trigger the email.

I am still getting the error

Here is the flow and the not found error.

Hi mxy,

Please try to start a new flow from blank with the same configuration.

I test it again on my side with the Subject Filter configured and it is working fine.

Please try again with it.

However I am still getting the same error.

I created the extact flow as you have. I have attached the flow and the resulting error.

As you can see, this is still not working.

Thank you! Banging my head against the desk for past two hours trying to solve this exact issue for the same intended flow!

Hi Mabel, adding a delay is not a solution, it's a workaround.

It's late 2020 now and Update Task Details is still bringing error message not found.
