Updating a Sharepoint List Daily

Hi,

I wanted to update a sharepoint list daily so it can update our "Years Hired" column that calculates how many years someone has been employed with us. I have everything down except for updating the list daily. This is needed to post to Yammer - our social media network for the company. How can I go about this?

Thank you

hi @kbonilla  you can use a recurrence trigger to do that

Hi @kbonilla ,

You could use Recurrence as the trigger and set the Interval to 1 Day.

Then you could use add() function or use increment variable action to increase the number of days and update the result to the specified item.

Please take a try and feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

I'm not sure if this would help, but I have "Years hired" set as a calculation. I have something along the lines of =((Today]-[StartDate])/365) which gives me the amount of years. The only way I've noticed I can update the amount of years is if I just edit someone's profile and just save without making any changes.

I know about the recurrance, but that doesn't update the list at all. I'm not sure if this would help, but I have "Years hired" set as a calculation. Hi @kbonilla ,

If this is the case, I am afraid that Power Automate does not seem to be suitable to achieve your requirements.

Please consider relying on the features that come with SharePoint list to achieve your needs. You can submit your questions in the SharePoint forum to get the right solution.
