Trying to get a task to update to complete when a new response is submitted. The flow seems relatively easy to do...however making the tie between the task and the form is where I am failing to see how I can do this.
Using a condition to match responders email to user ID assigned
I can basically have a question in the form that the user would add a response to what the task title is but that would rely on the person filling out the form to transfer the info from the task...
How can I make the connection between a task assigned to a user, requiring them to fill out a form and the output of a form so I can automatically update the task to completed.
Hi @mhennick ,
Is this your need? - When a user fills out the form, the form's control will list all the tasks' titles assigned to the users.

Yes and No, wanting up update the status of the task to completed. The issue/problem is that there are multiple tasks for given individual, how do you dynamically close the one needed (connect task ID to the action that was taken i.e. filled out a form from a link in the task etc)
Hi @mhennick ,
Unfortunately, I don't believe microsoft form can do that. As far as I know, form can't read task id value or task title value.
Do you consider using powerapps to create a form? In this app, you could create a dropdown in form and it will list all the task id/title assigned to the user. Hopefully it makes sense.
