Updating a sharepoint list with existing responses from Microsoft Form

Hello People,

I have a requirement to update a Sharepoint list with some data in an already filled Microsoft form.

The only action trigger i see on the flow for microsoft form is based on "When a new response is submitted", as shown in the image below.

But my microsoft form is already filled and i don't expect any new data from it. All i am interested in is fetching some of the already filled data and use it to update my sharepoint list. Unfortunately all the examples i see are about creating or updating a sharepoint list only when a new response is submitted on microsoft form.

How do i handle already existing response data available on my form. What trigger can i use to fetch this existing response data?

Hello,

By OOB flow design, its not supported, however you can try updating Sharepoint list by reading the excel file (downloaded from MS forms which has all the previous responses).

Please refer to the below thread about this discussion:

Hope this helps !

Hello @rohsh354 ,

I actually used excel, unfortunately getting the attachments is what made it impossible.

We have unfortunately decided to restart the entire process of filling the form afresh after creating the flow due to this limitation.
