Updating item from lookup up value

Hi all,

I am trying to get a flow to update an item in another list.

I have list one (red line) and list two (blue line).

Item is created on red, get items from blue, I have a lookup column in each of these pages that take their information from the same place. 

The condition now says that they equal each other, if yes update the item (red list) that was created with something from the blue list.

The problem I am having is the condition is always false. Is this because they are lookup columns? If so is there a way around this?

Any help much appreciated.

if they're lookup columns you should compare only their value - available among the dynamic contents as the 'ColumnName Value'.

Thank you very much for your response, I have selected the values but this still says no conditions met. Not sure why it isn't working.

Hello @Edd-Keogh ,

try to add a 'Compose' action before the 'Condition' and add both the values in the 'Compose'. That way you'll see in the flow run history what values enter the condition which might give you an idea what's wrong.
