Updating new record Dynamics365 but it creates new record

Hi all,

I've created a flow to check whether an environment already exists and if it does, it should update the record. If it doesn't exist, it should be created. I retrieve rows from SQL, and all ID's in SQL should be a record in Dynamics365.

The part of creating the record is going well, but when an environment already exists it should be updated. However, I can see in my CRM that a new record is created, and I get duplicates. When I check my flow, I can see it works just as I want (it goes to already exists > update record). How is it possible that it still creates new records in CRM, even though in flow it looks like it is updated?

This is my flow:

This is my output from testing:

Re: Updating new record Dynamics365 but it creates new record

Hi @RosalieM ,

Thanks for providing the screenshots.

I have made a similar flow using two SharePoint lists, which is working properly, so I guess that you need to add another Condition under If yes branch to update the existing corresponding item.

I my scenario, I am using the common value Title to find out the matched one, then update it.
