Upload a file to a CDS Entity

Hello everyone,

I want to attach a file uploaded to a Microsoft Form to a CDS entity field. I am at the point where I have the metadata from the attachment but I cannot figure out what step to take next. I was hoping someone knew what next or if i was moving in the wrong direction.

Hi @GeigerCDill ,

Generally, if we want to add attachments to a record, we need to add these attachments to Notes entity and fill record identifier in Regarding id field.

Maybe you could refer to the following configuration, For example, I add an attachment to the newly created account record.

Check the following video to get the file content submitted in the form submission.

If the form is a group form, please refer to the following thread:

Hope this helps.

Hi @GeigerCDill ,

You can create a note entity and add the file as attachment from it.

Thanks
