I am trying to run a flow that runs a Kusto query and then sends an email (to my Micrososft email account).
The email sending step fails on: "User account does not exists".
I manage to connect to my account through: https://portal.office.com/account/ and do not see any REST API not supported errors.
Here are all the details of error:
Which connection are you using on action “send an email”? Office 365 outlook or Outlook.com?
Please make sure the connection to Office 365/Outlook.com is properly created.
I have created a simple flow with the action send an email using Office 365 Outlook, I didn’t get an error “User account doesn’t exist”. But I have a remember that I got this error before, after I recreated the connection, the error gone.
Below is a screenshot of the simple flow I have created just now, for a reference:
I used the "Office Outlook O365 - Send an email" step.
I entered my Microsoft email and it identified it.
But it still fails on "User account does not exists".
Clicked on te '...' and now I see the REST API error which means I need to enable it.
Looked at other threads on this and tried to send email to firstname.lastname@example.org which fails.
did not work, still recevied the bouncing back email.
Is there a different way to ask for REST API to be enabled?
Thanks for your reply. Do you have a Rest API action in your flow? Could you show me your flow configuration for better understanding?
I have seen a similar thread about this issue, please check the post from Staff masisley:
From the thread, we know that this happens for mailboxes that have not been migrated to O365. Your mailbox is likely still on a dedicated exchange server. You'll need to request your Outlook administrator migrate your mailbox. Please have a try with this to see if it works.
Hope this could be a reference for you.
