Using flow to alert when SharePoint list item didn't change in the last 14 days

Dear Experts,

I would like to use Flow to alert when SharePoint list didn't change for the last 14 days.

I start by building flow the run on weekly basis and get all SharePoint list items.

then I would like to have a condition that checks if modified is greater then 14.

do we have a way to calculate the number of day since modified?

this is the value that I would like to use in my Condition:

@equals(items('Apply_to_each')?['Modified'], '')

Thanks,

Shachar

Re: Using flow to alert when SharePoint list item didn't change in the last 14 days

Hi @sbobrovskye,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you want to send an alert for each item which is changed in the last 14 days in your SharePoint list?

It is not simple to calculate the difference between two different date times in Microsoft Flow currently, I think you could consider take a try with following workaround as an alternative way:

  • Add a Recurrence trigger, Interval set to 1 and Frequency set to Week.
  • Add a "Get items" action, specify Site Address and List Name.
  • Add a "Apply to each" action, input parameter set output of "Get items" action.
  • Within "Apply to each" action, add a Condition, click "Edit in advanced mode", type the following formula:
@lessOrEquals(formatDateTime(addDays(items('Apply_to_each')?['Modified'], 14), 'MM/dd/yyyy'), utcNow('MM/dd/yyyy'))

Within "If/yes" branch of Condition, add a "Send an email" action.

The flow works successfully as below:6.JPG
