Version History not maintained in Excel at One Drive copied via Power Automate

Hi,

I have copied file <File-1> from One Drive folder A to another folder B (same One Drive) using Power Automate

When file copied to folder B, it lost all the Version History, it only shows most recent History.

To check Version History -> Click on triple dot against file and Go to Version History, it shows only most recent history detail.

Please let me know how to do this, my requirement is to copy file from folder A to B, if same file available at B, it will be replaced.

Please suggest!!

Thanks

Amit Srivastava

Hi @amsrivas,

It's unfortunate that Version History not maintained is by design. When you use Copy to with documents that have version history, only the latest version is copied. To copy earlier versions, you need to restore and copy each one. For more info about versioning, see Enable and configure versioning for a list or library.
