Wan to trigger Power BI Refresh when the 3'rd email arrives

Hi,

  I have a ETL job which will run 3 times in a day (e.g. 11 AM, 3 PM, 6.50 PM) and each job completion i will be receiving the email notification( From, To, Subject, Body are same for all the 3 notifications).  Based on the volume of the data, there could be some delay in job completion time.

I want to refresh the Power BI dataset when the above email arrives between 6.50 PM to 8 PM. I have tried with "When a email arrives(v3)", but there i don't see received time option.

Can you please help?

Thanks,

Vinoth

Hi @vinothkumar1990

You could consider add the condition under the trigger to check the email received time, if the received time is between 6.50 PM to 8 PM, refresh the Power BI dataset, if not, do nothing.

Expression:formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-ddT18:50:00')

Expression:formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-ddT20:00:00')

If your outlook time zone is not UTC time, please add Convert time zone action to convert time zone.
